Is an MRI the Right Choice?
Are you a recent auto accident victim that has been wondering if an MRI is the right choice for you? More than likely the answer to this question is most definitely, Yes! MRI technology offers a unique capability in that it can accurately assess whether soft tissue damage has occurred following a motor vehicle accident, as well as the ability to assess the extent of damage done. Due to the mechanism of injury involved in the majority of auto collisions it is highly likely that the person involved will sustain soft tissue injuries. X-rays and other standard exams will not diagnose these soft tissue injuries, an MRI must be used in order to do this. At AICA we offer MRI capabilities because we recognize the importance of accurately diagnosing and treating our patients. If you have been in an accident and have not received an MRI then you may be suffering from undiagnosed injuries. Don’t let this be you! Let AICA help you get back to life the way you like it!

Sandy Springs Car Accident – January 2013
Two back to back car accidents last January in Sandy Springs, GA resulted in the entangling of six different vehicles. Both of these wrecks occurred on interstate-285 just off of Roswell Rd in Sandy Springs. In the first collision three vehicles were involved, and luckily no major injuries were reported. The victims likely sustained whiplash and mild back and neck pain. The second wreck that occurred right after the first, on the same highway in Sandy Springs also involved three vehicles. Out of these three vehicles there was only one victim that sustained more serious injuries. The collision of these six cars resulted in a pretty substantial traffic jam in Sandy Springs that evening.
With six vehicles involved in these car accidents it is amazing that the majority of the victims were not more seriously injured. However, this is an excellent reminder of the fact that even if an auto-accident victim feels fine after a collision he or she still needs to have a thorough medical exam done to rule out any injuries. It is not possible to truly know the extent of injury following a motor vehicle collision when still at the site of the incident. A proper exam by a licensed doctor is absolutely necessary in order for any car accident victim to receive an accurate diagnosis of their injuries. Our physicians at AICA offer the skills and success that any Sandy Springs car accident victim would need. If you live in Sandy Springs and are struggling with your auto-injuries then let AICA help you through each step of your recovery.
